We paid more for this sink, as it says it’s granite and we wanted a really hard wearing and low maintenance one. However, we’re questioning the actual material as it scratches so easily - placing a plate on it even scratches it, so we’ll probably have to replace it in less than a year.There is also a silver plug control thy sits on the front on the sink which isn’t shown on the product photo, which doesn’t look the best.Disappointed.The first sink arrived thrown over the gate and damaged, we thought it was the delivery company's fault but we now have our reservations as the next one was damage exactly the same as the first one we received, we think it was sent like this as the plastic packaging inside was all brocken what a waste of everyone's time and money, make sure you check to see if its in this country before purchasing, buying abroad is not the best way, buy british or go to local retailer.Rather than delivered to named neighbour product dumped on doorstep in full view for anyone to steal if they pleased. Delivery notice stated handed to resident...clearly not. Box damaged, some fittings missing and the sink itself had been drilled. This looked very much as though it had been returned by a previously unsatisfied customer and not checked before bring re-sold. An hour on Amazon chat concerning return of item. This required several different people, and having to explain issues repeatedly. It seems a huge company such as Amazon can't manage to organise a free carrier pick-up service for bulky defective items. I have to organise and pay for this myself then email a receipt for customer service to reimburse. The sink itself looked good, had it been intact and with all the fittings. However, I was unwilling to order a replacement because of the hassle with this order. In the end I bought a sink from B &Q. The service I received from the people in store was exemplary.Product was perfect. Make sure courier has to get signature, as jad one delivered before and arrived damaged.After waiting weeks for this it finally arrived, we had removed the old sink, turned the water off the day before and we unpacked ready to install to find a damaged corner and no instructions. Have no time to return so going to try and make the best of it.
