This napkin holder was well made and modern looking. Sleek, minimalist look to it. It was very heavy & sturdy.The only issue was that it could scratch your table if someone pushes it around too much, so you'd probably want to put felt pads or something similar on the bottom. It didn't scratch mine when I tried it briefly, but I could see that happening in the future.I did return this because my cat found it too amusing to steal napkins from it. She never did this with my old napkin holder. I don't think it had anything to do with the design, just my weird cat! So, it didn't work for me, but I would still recommend it.Like everyone else here has said, a very nice rendition of a kitchen staple. I can't stand napkin holders that attempt to keep napkins upright and that was all I was seeing locally. Thank goodness for Amazon! I paid over a dollar more than the current price, but still feel the price is a good value. I was a little disappointed that the holder wobbled (or rocked) slightly because it is so heavy it was really loud. I tried to straighten, but the holder is WAY too sturdy for me to bend. So I stuck tiny little silicone "feet" onto the bottom and this took care of the wobble. I think they will also help protect the table top over the course of time. I would absolutely buy again if I had a need for another one.This is a great idea, and a great size. The problem is that it doesn’t sit level. It rocks because it is warped. The metal is nice and thick...so thick that it can’t be bent and leveled. I didn’t ever send it back, so now am just using it until I find something to replace it.Just the right size for everyday napkins but to small for fancy dinner napkins. The satin nickel finish isn't anything special, its kind of rough and unfinished. Makes it look like a fast production peice. I guess you get what you pay for. What can you expect for $13.25. Best advise is to keep it full of napkins so you can't see the finish. Got it from Amazon in 2 days. So I'll give it 3 stars.Update: I returned the satin nickel napkin holder. Amazon refunded my money on the spot, even before I shipped it. I then ordered the chrome version. I got that one today. It looks perfect, real shiny, no rough spots. So I'll give it 5 stars. I'd say Amazon is pretty good to do business with.Very stylish, and standard napkins fit well into the holder. Only issue is that the bottom is not perfectly flat, so it rattles a bit when someone walks past it in the kitchen. I'm going to try rubber stoppers on the bottom to try to address the issue. Even so, I'd recommend this if you're looking for a way to store napkins horizontally instead of vertically.It DOES wobble, nothing a piece of felt can’t fix. Stainless steel look looks great!Yep, it holds napkins and is nicely designed, but the metal finish work is terrible. The welds are not ground down and smoothed out. The center bar ends show raw cuts with no smoothing of the metal. The lift bar ends are finished with a grinding wheel in a very haphazard way. You can tell the people constructing this were working way too fast and don't care about finish and appearance quality. So, the design is nice, but the workmanship is terrible.It fits big napkins but fits 2 rows of small ones. It doesn't scratch my brown table either when the kids slide the thing around to pass the napkin. I wish it has some ways to hold the napkin in place for when I open the window by the dining room. But then, I should have thought of that and not buy this one then right? =)
