I’ve had this item for over 25 years. I got a new one about 6 months ago just for the containers cause half of them are with other family members.I bought 2 before, some of the containers were getting old. I was so glad to see I could get another set. I kept the old ones that were good and added them to the new carousel. These are just the right size for small amounts of leftovers, and the bigger ones are great for freezing extra spaghetti sauce and chili as we need to for just the two of us. We make big batches and freeze to have leftovers for a few days. The containers are fairly durable, but they don't do well in the microwave, as I have discovered over the years.I highly recommend this set if you need containers and don't like searching constantly for the right lid to to on the right container. I have a lot of those and rarely use them. I love these. This is the second time I bought these containers which I think are great. But the carousel they go on needs work. The first time I had a few broken risers which the containers go into I thought it was a onetime thing, wrong just received the second set and the same thing luckily, I had the first one to take parts from. This is a small plastic lazy Susan with food containers that stack nicely and save space. I bought something almost exactly like it in a grocery store over 10 years ago and loved it, but downsized that with a lot of other possessions when I moved. When I wanted to give it as a gift in June this year, I couldn't find the major kitchen container brand name that produced it years earlier, but found this off-brand item on Amazon. Unfortunately, one of the larger containers was broken off a little near the top and so that container didn't seal. I asked the recipient if he wanted me to sent the whole package back and he said no, that he'd just keep that one container at the bottom of its pile. When I bought one for myself just days ago, one of my containers had a small hole near the top and didn't completely seal, just like his. However I also decided to keep it at the bottom of its pile, to avoid the hassle of sending the whole package back. The plastic is more brittle than the name brand, and it's hard to put the lids on the containers because they're so tight. But if you want a lot of food containers in a small space, it's very convenient. It's also OK in the dishwasher, but I skip the heated drying and pre-treating cycles. I still like the product, just wish it were better quality. I'd be willing to pay a few bucks more if Amazon would carry the major name brand, or if this off-brand would increase its quality.Love it! Now I can always find a container and lidI bought my 1st "Chef Buddy" plastic food storage set in the late '90's l think. I loved them because they took up less space, were stackable, lids were interchangeble, and they have a storage carousel for all of it. After all these years l still have several of each size but needed more. I was happy to discover they were still available & ordered a set. It looks exactly the same, however we are finding that some of the containers are slightly too large for the lids rendering them useless. It is annoying that we can't just reach for a lid. Now we have to try many lids hoping one will fit. I have already removed one of the medium sized ones from rotation. I know there is at least one more medium that is off size but l was able to fit a silicone cover on that one. We love this set and this is the only drawback. Not sure if the company is aware of the issue or not. I would still recommend it since my original lasted so long.I have used this system for years and needed to replace some of the containers. The new order was great except 2 0f the 4 towers are not usable due to broken parts. Since I already have the caddy this was not a real issue for me, but would be if you were buying for the first time. I did not notice until the order arrived that the invoice did say the package would be damaged.I love how easy they made it to keep containers and lids conveniently together. And the opening of their containers make it so the lid fitting the largest container is the same lid that fits their smallest. No shuffling lids trying to find the right one. Downside is that it is cheaply made and feels like you will break it as you put it together. But for me, it goes in my over sized kitchen drawer so it doesn't need to be super sturdy, it just needs to keep my containers and lids together. It comes with a good quantity of 3 different sized containers. If you're keeping track of food portions, the containers have ounce markings on them so you know exactly how much you're putting in each one. Add to all that the unexpected bonus of it spinning like a lazy Susan to make container size selection as easy as possible, and I'm totally sold on it.Pas très bon achat, les plats sont difficiles à fermer.
