Gorgeous design for the price. Super easy to fold and unfold.So I bought his chair over a year ago, and have used it sparingly- a couple of times a week for less than an hour at a time…. yesterday, I sat down on it and it BROKE! The acrylic seat split from side to side and I ended up on the floor! I weigh 170 pounds- there is NO REASON for the chair to break like that! Buyer beware!! It looks nice, it folds up and can be put out of the way… but if it breaks when I sit on it, then there’s definitely structural issue with the acrylic seat! Buyer beware! And be careful!I've just received the chair so I can't with confidence comment on how it will hold up over time, but at first examination this is a sturdy and absolutely beautiful chair. My husband and I are down-sizing in preparation for a move from an already small Philadelphia row house to an approx. 500 sq. ft. New-York apartment. Since we entertain frequently, we most regret the loss of space for a permanent dining area. I had been looking for a folding chair that was practical without sacrificing beauty and found surprising few options. Most folding chairs are flimsy and look more at home in a church basement than in a well decorated apartment, but this chair seemed perfect. I ordered only one at first to test for comfort and, given that we are both large men, stability. This chair receives top marks for beauty, comfort, and stability. I will soon be placing my order for several more.I ordered two of these chairs. One closes automatically when you lift the back, the other you must use your other hand to close it by lifting on the seat. I tried to tighten the first one so that when I lifted the chair to pull it out it wouldn't start closing on me - to no avail. The look of the chair is nice but I was also perplexed by the screws in the seat. I wasn't planning on using a cushion since these are folding chairs, so I was surprised to see that there are recessed screws right in the middle of the seat. In all other ways the chairs are fine. They seem pretty comfortable and fairly sturdy.This chair did exactly what was hoped for, namely be nearly invisible in a small space. It is worth every penny of this chair to avoid visual clutter. It's comfortable and the swiveling backrest is useful.I had one of these in my home office for almost ten years. Ideal for a small space where the full size office chair would be too bulky. Very comfortable for a couple of hours at-a-time. Swivel back is located at just the right level for anyone 5'5" or taller and allows to sit straight or recline Bought this one as a spare, in case my original one gets damaged.Needed a chair which was comfy but also had a small footprint. Like the clear plastic & when i don't need it, I can fold it away. pretty sturdy too.These chairs are fantastic looking. Everyone loves the comfort and style. Really comfortable to sit on for an entire evening. Lots of compliments.The concept of "telescoping" is NOT evident in this chair: the legs are stationary, at ONE length only. Moreover, the picture suggests there are rollers at the bottom of the legs - not the case. Its visual appearance is as cute as a button, but true functionality is absent.Great. Matches our other chairs exactly. Solid, well-made. I have no more to say this evening on Sunday. Stop. Stop'Beautiful well constructed item. Goes perfectly with my clear console desk/table.
