The rack arrived today, I just installed it, and I was surprised by five small things -- two good, three bad:Good:-The hooks stick out from the base board farther than I expected, which will make it easier to put coats on them. This may end up being important; our largest reservation about this style of hooks was that our children would not make the effort to make sure coats were actually on the hooks and coats would end up on the floor.-The front of the base board has a nice curve to it -- thicker in its middle and thinner on the sidesBad:-The inserts that hide the screw holes are too big to fit well into the holes, so they stick out-Some of the hooks are attached to the board slightly askew-The unit came packaged with cardboard around the two ends to protect the unit, which is good -- but the cardboard was painted black and left permanent black marks on the white base. Really, how hard would it have been to use unpainted cardboard?My guess is that on one will ever notice the minor flaws once coats are on it, so I will still give it five stars; overall it's a quality-made product at a decent price.
